What does your day look like?
A varied job within a rapidly growing and innovative company. You work with your team every day to provide the best service for our customers. The lines of communication are short and you learn a lot from and with each other. You also have a lot of contact with the other operational departments not only in Venlo, but also in Zeebrugge. You switch quickly via e-mail, telephone, you work accurately in the customer system or you just walk up to your colleague in the office. You just look at what is most efficient. Contact with colleagues and customers gives you energy on a daily basis! You are also stress resistant and good at keeping an overview, there is a lot going on in a working day.
ECS handles an average of 5,000 shipments a week. You enjoy the challenge of contributing to on-time delivery to our customers.
What is your role in brief:
- Together with your team, you ensure that our customers are taken care of.
- You are the 'linchpin' between our customers and operational departments.
- You handle and process transport orders averaging 5,000 loads a week.
- You coordinate loads and unloadings through close cooperation with other departments.
- Thinking creatively and cost-efficiently with the customer is one of your strengths.
When do you fit in?

What is your profile?
- You preferably have 1/2 year of experience in a customer service environment, preferably in logistics/transportation.
- Some knowledge of logistics and transport is a plus
- You have completed at least an MBO level 4 education or are a HBO starter and are keen to start your career in the logistics heart of Venlo.
- You speak and write Dutch and English and have some knowledge of the German language.
